A total of 60 students from different schools across the state, studying in Classes X to XII, participated enthusiastically in the workshop. The sessions focused on practical learning, enabling students to explore Arduino-based circuits, sensors, programming, and the development of simple working prototypes.
The workshop was conducted with Shri Achintya Saha, Director cum Founder Technomate Edubotics, Agartala, Tripura as the resource person. Through demonstrations, hands-on activities, and guided project work, the participants gained practical exposure to Arduino technology and developed an interest in electronics, coding, and innovation.
The valedictory function, held at the auditorium of the Manipur Science Centre, Takhelpat, was attended by Science and Technology Department Secretary Kengoo Zuringla as the chief guest, with Education (S) Director Ng Bhogendra Meitei and Joint Director T.D. Kom was the functional president.
Addressing the function, Kengoo Zuringla said such workshops would greatly benefit students by enhancing their knowledge of science and encouraging them to develop innovative ideas.
The dignitaries distributed certificates to all the participants of the workshop.
The three-day programme provided an engaging platform for students to learn by doing and encouraged them to explore technology-based solutions to real-world problems.
