Tilt the channels and allow the rings to roll down the channels. Observe that only one of them rolls down slowly. The delayed ring is a magnet. The aluminium channel acts as a single turn coil. A magnet rolling along it induces a strong short-circuiting current in it. This current gives rise to another magnetic field which opposes the field of the rolling magnet. This slows down the rolling magnet.
